A program is a blanket order: you commit to a pool, and draw it down by
release as stores, events or builds need stock. You get the pricing of the
full quantity without warehousing the full quantity on day one.
You can see the balance
The pool balance is visible to you — ordered, released, remaining,
and how many releases are open. Programs fail when nobody can tell how much is
left without emailing someone, so that number is on the
portal rather than in a spreadsheet on our side.
What suits a program
Anything that repeats on a schedule you do not fully control —
display rollouts, merch
kits, replacement parts for fixtures already in the field. If you have
reordered the same item three times, it probably wants to be a program.
